In 2010, JD Coaching & Consulting conducted a survey in order to produce a benchmark regarding nonprofit board performance. The findings validated Davis’ experience relating to principles of great governance. The results were developed into a framework to help boards attain an effective, high-performing governance team.
Davis is a noted author and sought after keynote speaker. Her book, The Promise of Potential (2008), distills methods for developing individual capabilities and presents a useful approach to unlocking leadership talent.
Jodi Davis is the former SVP of Menttium Corporation, the nation’s foremost authority on corporate mentoring programs. She has also served in adjunct faculty positions, teaching organizational development and management courses, at local colleges and universities. Davis holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas and a BS in Education from the University of Minnesota. She received her coaching certificate from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), an acclaimed ICF accredited program, and is certified as a human potential trainer by the internationally recognized Empowerment Institute in New York.
